Patricia Ann Every

Patricia Ann Every, 85, of Noblesville, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville.  She was born on March 3, 1934 to the late Raymond Lloyd and Adda Pearl (Tetrick) McDermitt in Alexandria, Indiana.

Patricia married George William "Bill" Every on December 18, 1976, and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2016.  She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1952, and received a Bachelor of Education degree from Marion College (now Indiana Wesleyan University) and a Master of Education degree from Ball State University.  Patricia taught high school choral music in Summitville, Gray, and Mississinewa High Schools and ended her teaching career of twenty-five years with thirteen years at Southport High School.  She was involved in several musicals while living in Grant County.  Patricia was a soprano in the Castlewood Singers for twenty-three years, including performances at Carnegie Hall and two tours of Europe.  She and Bill loved to travel and she relished her Stephen King novel collection.

Patricia is survived by her first cousins, Robert and wife, Gwendolyn Tetrick of Noblesville and Ronald Tetrick of Kokomo; second cousins, John Tetrick of Noblesville and Megan Tetrick and husband, Bradford Hopewell of Vienna, Virginia; as well as several other cousins; and her beloved cat, Jackson.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Rev. David Layman will officiate.  Burial will be at Eden United Methodist Cemetery in Eden, Indiana (Hancock County).
