Patricia "Jewell" Kerby

Patricia "Jewell" Louise Kerby was born on February 19, 1946 to Buster and Mary (Marcum) Ball in Lee County, VA. She went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. She was married on July 25, 1986 to the late Richard A. Kerby for 12 years.
Patricia was employed at the Hamilton County Buildings and Grounds Department as a custodian for 12 years; and she was an active member of the American Legion. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and attended the New Light Christian Church though the years.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Kay (Raymond) Turner of Gamaliel, KY; five grandchildren, Eric, Brandi, Tanner, Dakota & Kaiah Turner; four great-grandchildren, Caleb Turner, Allyson & Madyson Hagan and Kayden White, all of Gamaliel, KY; five sisters, Sharon (Dennis) Toomey of Noblesville, Sandy (Robbie) Robison of Lapel, IN, Tammy (Jerry) Harman of Indianapolis, IN, Carlos (Glen) Nix of Williamsburg, KY and Brenda Owens of Noblesville; four brothers; Oriville (Lois) Ball Sr. of Noblesville, David (Jeanette) Ball of Westfield, Benny (Rose) Ball of Russell Springs, KY, and Buster Ball Jr. of Noblesville.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Virgil Risden; and two sisters, Ilow Poindexter and Rosalee Caudill.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville, with Minister Michael Risden, Patricia's nephew, officiating.
Pall bearers will be Raymond, Eric, Tanner and Dakota Turner, Dennis Toomey, Robbie Robison, Troy Lawson, Orville Ball Jr., Michael Hagan & Marc Owens. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Turner, Kayden White, Matthew & Cody Lawson.
