Patricia Maxine Ramsey

On December 21, 2020, Patricia Maxine Ramsey, 76, of Westfield, heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant...Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord". (Matthew 25:23).  

Pat was born on April 11, 1944, the second of five children to Claude and Ethel (White) Shubert in Connersville, Indiana.  She married her one and only boyfriend, Kenwood Ramsey Jr. after he came home from the Army.  They were married 54 years and spent most of their lives together pastoring Wesleyan churches and most recently, Eagletown Friends Church.Pat had a variety of talents:  cooking, cake decorating, sewing, flower arranging, etc.  She was a stay-at-home Mom until all of her children were in school.  Pat then took a bookkeeping/office manager position to ensure her children could attend private Christian school.

Pat is survived by her husband, Kenwood Ramsey; three daughters, Claudia (Robert) Pickett, Rebekah Herron, and Rachel (Brian) Frownfelter; two sons, Kenwood (Jodi) Ramsey, III and Samuel Ramsey; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Carolyn Wildridge and Elaint Shubert-Nuetzman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Michael Shubert and Joseph Shubert.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Eagletown Cemetery, 17802 Eagletown Road in Westfield, with Rev. Duane Quesenberry officiating.  

The family would like to thank the staff of Wellbrook of Westfield for their excellent care during Pat's last years of life while she battled Parkinson's Disease.
