Paul Estridge, Jr.

September 25, 1957 -  January 8, 2023

Beloved husband, father, Pappy, brother, believer and survivor Paul E. Estridge, Jr. went to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Methodist Hospital, with his family by his side. He was 65 years old.

Paul was a dynamic entrepreneur for more than 40 years, known best as a homebuilder and land developer whose companies have developed more than 35 neighborhoods and built nearly 9,000 homes in central Indiana. In his career, Paul also used his many talents to build businesses in interconnecting technologies, mortgage lending, parimutuel horse racing, aviation management, and most recently the restaurant industry as owner and partner of Monterey Coastal Cuisine in Carmel. Paul received numerous accolades and honors over the years, culminating in 2022 when he was recognized as one of Indiana’s 250 Most Influential People by the Indianapolis Business Journal. Paul was a proud alumnus of Carmel High School (Class of 1976) and University of Evansville and a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

While being a successful and respected entrepreneur is certainly part of Paul’s legacy, his true passion was serving people. In 2007 Paul and his family founded the Estridge Family Trust Foundation. Since that time, the foundation has granted more than $7 million to charitable organizations focused on building lives and families in central Indiana. He was a cherished mentor and friend to many, both within his companies and within the community. He was a licensed private pilot, an avid reader, the host of his own podcast, “Survive and Advance,” and a member of Northview Church.

Paul’s love of his family sustained him through many challenges in his life. He credited them with every success and loved them deeply. He is survived by his wife, Judy, whom he described as his angel and his heart; his cherished children, Mary Ellen McIntyre (Coleman), Elyse Harvey (Scott), and Joshua Estridge; his grandchildren and joy, Cashel Timothy McIntyre, Amos Paul McIntyre and Ruth Rose Harvey; his sisters, Sherry McNutt (Gary) and Vicki Short (Martin) whom he adored; and his many wonderful nieces and nephews. Paul was pre-deceased by his dear parents, Paul Sr. and Carol Estridge.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road (SR-32) in Noblesville from 4pm until 7pm. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Northview Church Westfield Campus, 1191 W. 186th Street in Westfield. The burial will be private.
