Paul Edward âTater' Tate, 90, of Fortville, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at home. He was born on January 19, 1925 to Daniel A. and Delia (Seymour) Tate in Noblesville, Indiana.
Paul was a pipe fitter for Eli Lilly of Greenfield for 36 years. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a WWII veteran. He attended Fishers United Methodist Church and was a member of the Fishers Masonic Lodge #533, and the Scottish Rite. Paul loved coin collecting, racing and crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby (McKinnon) Tate; daughter, Donna (Bruce) Marks; son, Tony (Kathi) Tate; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
