Paul Norman Tester, 81, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on August 17, 1930 to Norman and Iva (Wilson) Tester in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Paul was a linotype operator. He spent 33 years of his career with the Washington (D.C.) Post, but also had worked for several other newspapers. He was a 1952 graduate of the Tennessee School for the Deaf and was very active in the deaf community. He was a member of the International Typographical Union.
He is survived by son, Dave (Janis) Tester; three sisters, Lorene Sharp, Ruth Edwards Powers & Mary Winebarger; three grandchildren, Jennifer Musano, Daniel Tester & Dean Arthur Tester; four great-grandsons, Liam McCullough, Rohan, Gray & Benjamin Musano; and many nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Mae Tester; daughter, Gina Alberta Coleman; three brothers; and five sisters.
Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Paul will be buried in Tennessee.
