Peggy J. Harris, 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on April 27, 1945 to Charlie and Roxie (Nolan) Helton in Harlan, Kentucky.
Peggy was an Executive Housekeeper for Sunburst Hospitality, and loved playing bingo, where ever it was, usually at the American Legion in Sheridan. She was also a member of the Comfort Bears program for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department.
She is survived by her children, William C. Cole, Gene A. (Tonya) Cole, Edward L. Cole, and Brian L. (Sandra K.) Harris; siblings, Margie Rolfes, Gene Allen Helton, Dorothy Helton, Thomas Helton, Billy Joe Helton, and Frances L. Snow; grandchildren, Chelsey Cole, Bridget Cole, Caitlin Cole, Allen Cole, Michael Cole, Reagan Cole, Courtnee Baker, Lindsey Harris, Nathan Harris, Brian A. Harris, Tristan Harris, and Connor D. Snow.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her sisters, Esta May Griffin, and Mildred Chaney; and brother, Charles Helton.
A memorial calling will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Comfort Bears program in care of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department Chaplaincy Fund, 18100 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, IN 46060.
