Peggy Ann Rush, 75, of Fishers, Indiana, a long-time resident of Whitmore Lake, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 of Pneumonia. She was born on September 24, 1944 in Dearborn, Michigan.
Peggy was married to her high school sweetheart, Larry Rush, for over 51 years. Larry passed away in April 2016.
Peggy spent most of her career doing bookkeeping for various industries. Peggy was an amazing friend, sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother that LOVED being with family. She liked watching movies, playing cards and especially hanging out with her grandkids. Her most recent love was a 14-pound miniature Schnauzer named Presley. The dog was named after Elvis Presley, the singer, because both Peggy and Larry loved to listen to Elvis. Peggy and Presley both loved to cuddle on the couch and nap together. She also loved her churches: Brighton Christian Church (Michigan) and Heartland Church (Indiana). Peggy LOVED taking care of people and always had a smile on her face.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Keith Rush and Kevin Rush; daughter, Rhonda (Andre’) Harris; grandkids, Alec and Rachel Harris; sisters, Grace (Denny) Goniwicha and Sherry (Terry) Lewis; and brothers, Joe (Sharon) Eaglen and Doyle Eaglen.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Rush; mother, Arlene Eaglen; sister, Linda Denton; and brother, Dale Eaglen.
