Phillip Roush

Phillip Roush, 93, of Fishers, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on June 3, 1931 to DeForest and Sarah (Barker) Roush in Hillsboro, Ohio.

Phillip proudly served in the United States Army. He was the Commissioner of Proprietary Education for the State of Indiana. Phillip was a fan of all sports but especially Hamilton Southeastern sports. He enjoyed yard work and mowing the lawn with his tractor. Phillip liked crossword puzzles, reading books, and listening to music. 

Phillip is survived by his wife, Sandy Roush; son, Matt (Amanda) Roush; daughters, Anne (Diego) Roush-Gaillard and Melody (Trent) Heidorn; and grandchildren, Addison and Hudson Roush.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Roush.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with funeral services at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
