Phyllis Marie Sears

Phyllis Marie Sears, 86, of Speedway, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at IU Health West Hospital in Avon. She was born on October 10, 1929 to Clem and Slyvia (Berg) Ridgeway in Hamilton County, Indiana.
Phyllis was a retired teacher and enjoyed a weekly dinner club with her retired teacher friends. She enjoyed sewing, playing card games, and reading the daily news. Phyllis loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Sears; and daughter, Sharon Thomas.
Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with visitation from 1:00 pm to the time of service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Burial will be at Prairie Baptist Cemetery in Noblesville.
