Phyllis Virginia (Ginny) Clough Woods, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at IU Health Saxony in Fishers. She was born on April 20, 1946 to the late Alfred and Maxine (Sowders) Clough in Cadillac, Michigan.
For 23 years, Ginny was married to Stephen Woods, residing in Placentia, California, Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah before their move to Fishers, Indiana in 2008. In 2009, Steve preceded Ginny in death. She loved music and was an accomplished pianist and vocalist, but especially loved singing hymns with her family and church congregations. And, Ginny loved to serve others, specializing in English High Tea, which she served to many friends and groups over the years. She was dedicated to her family, especially her two daughters and four granddaughters, who knew her as their Nana Ginny, and who loved her tea parties and Christmas sleepovers under the tree. Her life was dedicated in service to her Lord and King, Jesus Christ.
Ginny is survived by her daughters, Erin (Lorin) Lemme and Jana McCaskill; step-children, Peter (Rebecca) Woods and Sharon (Sam) Pacheco; grandchildren, Selah, Aria, Kate, Claire, Celeste, Orion, Carleigh, Baylie, and Christien; sister, Judy Alexander; brother, Stephen (Donna) Clough; and family members in California, Indiana, and Nebraska.
