Ralph Christian Dages Jr., 73, of Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on February 1, 1940 to Ralph Christian and Louise Lena (Todisco) Dages Sr. in Riverside, NJ.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Ralph was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School ('58) and earned his BA at La Salle University ('63). In 1973 he married Barbara Shipley. Ralph and his family settled in Noblesville, IN in 1978. They made their life there until their move to Fishers, IN in 2006. Ralph was retired from a career in sales. His lifelong passion was sports, especially golf, and was an avid reader and dedicated Colts and Pacers fan.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Shipley Dages of Fishers; daughters, Jill E. (Mark) Dages Mayer of Fishers, and Heather L. (Russell) Dages Benesh of Carmel; son, Michael C. (Carrie) Dages of West Jordan, UT; brothers, Jack W. Dages of Sedona, AZ, and Gary K. Dages of New Jersey; and eight grandchildren, Simon, Anna, Madison, Hannah, Chloe, Milo, Aubrey & Owen.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Carol Dages Shea.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, August 2, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM immediately prior to the service at the funeral home. Pastor Tony Manning from Pointe Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, IN.
