Ralph E. Rogers, 91, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at home. He was born on April 10, 1922 to Berlin and Abbie (Anderson) Rogers in Frankton, IN.
Ralph had owned and operated Rogers Grain & Feed Mill in Aroma, IN from 1947-1972; and then was the owner of Rainbo Roller Rink in Noblesville from 1972-1983. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of WWII; and a member of Aroma United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Hoosier Cruisers, and the Overland Trail Blazers Campers for Christ; and an honorary member of the FFA in Walnut Grove.
He is survived by daughters, Janet Wright of Lawrence, Roberta R. (Charlie) Beard of Arcadia & Diana Rogers of Noblesville; sister, Alice Rogers Bedwell of Noblesville; five grandchildren, Abby Lewis, Shantell Smith, Christopher Williams, Christy Harvey & Sara Hendrick; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Jane (Carlton) Rogers, who passed away in 2006; daughter, Loretta Lou Williams; brothers, Russell Rogers, Owen Rogers & Robert Rogers; and sister, Audrey McCord.
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Aroma United Methodist Church in Aroma, with Pastor Richard Judson officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, June 14, 2013, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville. Burial will be at Aroma Cemetery.
