Randy Carr

Randy E. Carr, 70, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.  He was born on March 14, 1953 to Leo and Mary (Phillips) Carr in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was raised in the Town of Rocky Ripple, (Indianapolis) Indiana with his many brothers and sisters and many extended family members.

Randy was a second-generation member of UA Local 440 Plumbers, Steamfitters, & HVACR Service Technicians for nearly twenty years following in the footsteps of his father Leo, many uncles and several cousins who were members as well.  Additionally, for many years he operated Preventative Maintenance Inc helping many friends and families stay cool when their AC misbehaved.  He retired from Johnson Melloh.

During Randy's life he had several things he enjoyed. He ran the mini-marathon several times, enjoyed gardening in his backyard, and reading John Grisham novels. Later in life he enjoyed floating in his pool and always enjoyed a nice comfortable pair of running shoes.  He attended Calvary Apostolic Church.

Randy is survived by his wife, Deborah Carr; children, Ann (Ron) Gillum, Scott (Kallan) Carr, Jordan Carr, Anthony Worl, and Aaron Worl; siblings, Cathi (Dale) Whittleton, Tim (Bill) Carr, and Sande Carr; 10 grandchildren; and 10 nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel Carr, Nick Carr, Brad Carr and Christopher Carr.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with services at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  Randy's brother, Tim Carr will officiate.  Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
