Randy Pokorzynski

Randy Lee Pokorzynski, 56, Indianapolis, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 at home with his family. He was born April 8, 1953 in Alpena, Michigan to Eugene and Patricia (Suszek) Pokorzynski.
Randy had been a business manager for S&H Trucking for the past five years. He had retired in 2002 after 25 years with Marsh as President of Village Pantry. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the Air Force, and was a member of Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church.
He is survived by parents, Eugene & Patricia Pokorzynski of Alpena, MI; wife, Connie Samuels of Indianapolis; former wife of 25 years, Barbara Pokorzynski of Indianapolis; sons, Xavier Pokorzynski of Boston, MA, & Phil Pokorzynski of Indianapolis; daughters, Lori (Jeff) Jannsen of Carmel, Jenny Bragg of Noblesville, & Jackie (Josh) Carey of Arcadia; brother, Richard (Linda) Pokorzynski; sisters, Kathy (Cliff) Good, & JoAnn (Larry) Dehring; brothers-in-law, John (Judy) Samuels & Richard (Janice) Samuels; sister-in-law, JoAnna Samuels; five grandchildren; and seven nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Friends may call Friday, October 30, 4:00 - 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary. Services will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist, with Father Phil Bowers officiating.
