Ray Ann (Siebe) Gates, 48, of Foristell, MO, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her residence after a long and hard-fought illness. She was born December 12, 1968 in Michigan City, IN.
Ray Ann was fiercely devoted to her family and friends. Being a mother to Tucker was one of the greatest joys of her life. She was known to make anyone laugh in any circumstance. She was so engaging and life giving and remained a faithful witness to the Lord through her long battle.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Gates and son Tucker Gates of Foristell, MO; parents, David & Becky Arthur of Fishers; brother J.D. Arthur of Pendleton; mother-in-law, Glenda Gates of Anderson, IN; sisters-in-law, Kim Tisdale of Pendleton & Lori Gates of Anderson; two nieces that she loved like her own, Madi Arthur and Hannah Tisdale; and many cousins that she loved dearly.
Ray Ann was preceded in death by her Grams & Gramps, Nova & Jerry Crum; her uncle, Robert L. Reeter and her aunt, Jacqueline "Sue" (Reeter) Muncy; and her father-in-law, Fred Gates.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Madison Park Church of God, 6607 Providence Drive, Anderson, with a greeting time beginning at 9:00 am. Pastors Jim Lyon and Paul Strozier will officiate the service.
