Ray T. Miller McGrayel

Ray T. Miller McGrayel, 65, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel.  He was born on January 19, 1958 to Steven McGrayel and Helen (Hiday) Brown in Shelbyville, Indiana.

For 30 years, Ray worked as an accountant for Simon Property Group and Manser.  He was a member of Faith Community Church and loved bowling, playing solitaire, music, and cooking.  

Ray is survived by his former wife, Lisa McGrayel; sons, Craig McGrayel, Stephen (Asher) McGrayel, Brendon (Cierra) McGrayel, Jackson McGrayel, Ian McGrayel, and Andrew McGrayel; sisters, Carolyn (Hilton) Burrow, Rosie (Donnie) Shupe, and Ann Beagle; grandsons, Lucas Smith and Jaxon Smith; as well as many nieces & nephews, and many great-nieces & great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second father, Sam Miller; brother, Ross Allen Johnson; and his sister, Marilyn Kelley.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with services at 12:00 pm, on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.

Ray had a request for friends to dress casually and would like to have a memorable send off.  He specifically asked that no one send flowers.
