Raymond Max Bingham, 93, of Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Magnolia Springs Senior Living at Bridgewater in Carmel. He was born on March 9, 1931 to Rufe and Francis (Hamilton) Bingham in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
For over 30 years, Max was a minster at First Pentecostal Church in Elwood. He was also a businessman, nursing home owner and administrator for over 30 years. Max was a member of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ (ALJC), the Elwood Optimist, and the Republican Party.
He is survived by his son, Bart Matthew Bingham; daughter-in-law, Kathy Bingham; 4 grandchildren, Jason Bingham, Rachael Many, Andrei Bingham, and Olga Warner; 7 great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Bingham, Trista Bingham, Trayton Bingham, Mason Bingham, Matthew Jackson, Myles Many, and Callan Many; and 3 great-great-grandchildren, Mila Baker, Kohen Baker, and Jayce Driffill.
In addition to his parents, Max was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann Bingham; son, Dan Bingham; and his brothers, Earl Bingham, Leon Bingham, and R.B. Bingham Jr.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with funeral services at noon, on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Officiating the service will be Pastors Mike Bingham, Matthew Ball, Josh Wilson, Danny St. Clair, Luke St. Clair, and Jeff Moses. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Elwood.
