Raymond Larry Potter, 68, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on July 1, 1950 to Marvin Potter in Huntsville, Alabama.
Larry proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for Rex's Camera Shop in Peoria, Illinois for over 20 years. Larry attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was an avid reader, enjoyed music, and liked to travel.
Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marcia Potter; father, Marvin H. Potter; sons, Brian Potter, Michael Potter, and David Potter; brothers, Marvin (Sharon) Potter and Allen (Linda) Potter; step-mother, Nancy Potter; brother, James Potter; grandchildren, Chris, Justin, Cameron, Jacob, and Christina; great-grandchild, Jay; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Marian Shurts, Margaret Gray, and Mike and June Nohitsch; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Mildred and Ceibert Cunningham.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Randall and Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday August 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street in Noblesville.
An additional memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 410 LaSalle Blvd, Marquette Heights, Illinois.
