Raymond Smith

Raymond "Ted" Smith, 88, Franklin, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was born January 10, 1920 in Franklin, to Delcia (Lee) and Thomas Smith.
Raymond was a General Foreman for Firestone Industrial Products, retiring in 1977, after 30 years of service. He was a member of Church Of The Lakes, in Nineveh, Indiana.
He was also a former member of Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville and a former member of Noblesville American Legion Post.
He is survived by wife, Reva Smith of Franklin, IN; daughter, Verna 'Jean' (husband Oliver) Barker of Nineveh, IN; five sisters, three sisters-in-law: Ruth Huntzinger, Rose Barr & Vivian Smith; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; six sisters, five brothers and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 1, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Bruce Bendinger officiating. Friends may call Thursday, January 31, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana.
