Rebecca Ann Guffey

Rebecca Ann Guffey, 92, of Noblesville, was surrounded by her family when she passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Maple Park Village in Westfield.  She was born on December 18, 1925 to Harvey and Nora (Knight) Lawless in Sewellton, Kentucky.
Rebecca married her Prince Charming, Marshall Guffey, on July 7, 1945 and they were married 66 years.  Marshall and Rebecca started the Church of God of Prophecy in Noblesville on December 30, 1956 with Roy & Ilene Wariner.  She loved to cook, work in the garden and also loved birds and flowers, especially roses.  She was known as a prayer warrior.  Rebecca loved her grandchildren and always enjoyed spending time with them.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Alecia) Guffey; daughters, Kathy Parsons, Patricia (Bobby) Murray; brother, Jack Lawless; sister, Loretta Wells; grandchildren, Danny Mark Guffey, Melissa Reveal, Amy Shubert, Sue Ellen Isidoro, Chad Parsons, Brian Parsons, Jody Murray, Jeremy Murray, Kevin Guffey, Nathan Guffey, Teena Case, Lori Johnson, Jodi Christensen, Robert Guffey; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Guffey; son, Danny Guffey; daughter, Nancy Shubert; son-in-law, Herman Parsons; sisters, Tina Lawless, Hattie Snow, Ruth, Mary & Sally Guffey; brothers, Herbert Lawless, Paul Lawless & Joe Lawless; and grandchildren, Lee Marshall Guffey & Tammy.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with Mike Hunsinger officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
