Renelle E. Hofer, 89, of Hamilton County, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was born on March 11, 1928 to George "Bill" and Lillian (Juday) West in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Renelle was a 1946 graduate of Carmel High School, and for 18 years worked in the office at Indiana Bell. She then was a receptionist at Indiana Farmers Insurance. Renelle was very active in the Sweet Adelines and a band called The Standards. She enjoyed camping and was a member of the Northwest Pioneers Camping Club.
In addition to her parents, Renelle was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Hofer; and Harold's children, Sherry Hark and Mildred Philips.
Renelle is survived by her sons, Gary (Sally) Haskett and Mike Haskett (Deb); daughter, Yvonne (Dave) Thomas; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as Harold's children, Kerri (Mike) Klepfer, Jerry (Sue) Hofer, Harold "Ed" (Dawn) Hofer, Jean (Marc) Stump, Harry Hofer, and Lori Robinson.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
