Rev. Leslie N. Chadwick

Leslie N. Chadwick, 78, Arcadia, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at his home in Arcadia. He was born January 15, 1930 in Whitehall, Arkansas to Viola Bell (Nail) Chadwick and Charles Leslie Chadwick.
Leslie was a minister for 35 years. The last church he served was Friendship Baptist Church in Noblesville. He had also ministered in several churches in Indiana and Kentucky. He was a member of Indian Heights Baptist Church, in Kokomo, Indiana.
He was a graduate of Campbellsville College in Kentucky, and also spent 12 1/2 years serving in the Army.
He is survived by wife, Helen M. (Hall) Chadwick of Arcadia, IN; son, Leslie N. Chadwick, Jr. of Elizabethtown, KY; son, Donald DeWayne Chadwick of Murray, KY; daughter, Kathy Lynn Thistlethwaite of Sheridan, IN; daughter, Phyllis Marie Miller of W. Lafayette, IN; daughter, Mary Lou Dozier of Abilene, TX; daughter, Nina Ruth Westfall of Leuders, TX; sister, Geraldine Hamilton of Kansas City, MO; brother, Walter R. Chadwick of N. Carolina; brother, Billy C. Chadwick of Louisville, KY; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Donald O. Chadwick; sister, Rachel F. Wilfong; and grandson, Kenneth Lee Baker.
Services will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Donald DeWayne Chadwick and Rev. Kris Kennedy officiating. Friends may call Friday, February 8, 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana.
