Richard "Dick" Chappell

Richard "Dick" Chappell, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 10, 1933 to Paul and Flossie (McNally) Chappell Wiles in Noblesville, Indiana.
Dick proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Coral Sea during the Korean War. He retired after over 40 years as an ironworker. Dick was a member of Atlanta Christian Church. He loved his wife & children, enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports, and was a dedicated family man.
Dick is survived by his wife, Ramona Jane Chappell; children, Terri (James) Props, Tim (Carolyn) Chappell, Trent (Melissa) Chappell, Troy (Julie) Chappell, Todd (Jennifer) Chappell, and Tammi Knight; brother, George (Louise) Wiles; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Atlanta Christian Church, 200 East Main Street, in Atlanta, with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Jody Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
