Richard L. McDole, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. He was born on June 9, 1929 to Willard and Lucille (King) McDole in Lapel, Indiana.
Richard served in the United States Air Force. He retired after 30 years with Naval Avionics of Indianapolis.
His greatest joys were spending time with family and socializing with friends.
He is survived by son, Brian (Stella) McDole; daughter, Kelly (Bill) Edwards; daughter, Bobbi L. (Jim) Wyatt; son, Richard L. (Jill) McDole; sister, Neva Saylor; grandchildren, Amy (Paul) Harvey, Brian (Britni) McDole II, Shelby McDole, Caycee (Matt) Laughlin, Zachary Edwards, Lennie McDole, Jeff (Shawna) McDole, Scott (Suzanne) Wyatt and Nicole (Dwayne) Atencio, in addition to 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Angela Cay McDole (2008); sisters, Barbara Camp, Katie Foltz and Phyllis Parks; brothers, Charles McDole & Delbert McDole.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville with military rites to follow.
