Richard Eugene 'Dick' Mosteller, 73, Swayzee, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008 at home. He was born April 6, 1935 in Indianapolis, to Clarence Delbert and Lillian (Overbay) Mosteller.
Dick was Captain of Civilian Security at the U.S. Army Finance & Accounting Center, where he had been employed from 1957-1990. He was a 1954 graduate of Fishers High School; a U.S. Army veteran; and a member of the Lowell Beaver American Legion Post #470 in Fishers.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Mosteller of Swayzee, IN; daughters, Kathy (& Kevin) Tinkel of Swayzee, IN, Teresa (& Jack) Stewart of Ingalls, IN, Kris (& Sam) Props of Indianapolis; son, Scott (& Denise) Mosteller of Indianapolis; daughter, Linda Mosteller of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary. Friends may call Thursday, from 10:00 - 11:00AM prior to the service. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery in Indianapolis.
