Rick D. Schoolcraft, 52, Westfield, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born March 23, 1958 in Noblesville, Indiana to Cecil Wheeler and Freida Schoolcraft.
Rick was on the custodial staff as a grounds keeper at Carmel High School for 13 years. He served in the Army Reserve. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and shooting; but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved his family and enjoyed making memories.
He is survived by his mother, Freida Schoolcraft; wife, Kris (Reed) Schoolcraft; sons, Shayne (Verlena) Schoolcraft and Jesse Schoolcraft; daughters, Victoria Schoolcraft and Cassie Schoolcraft; brothers, John (Loretta) Schoolcraft and William (Sharon) Schoolcraft; a sister, Vickie (Tony) Wheeler Voglino-Rodriguez, special friends, Geoff & Carol Krohn and nine grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Services will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1685 Westfield Rd., in Noblesville. Friends may call Wednesday, May 12, 4:00 - 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Noblesville.
