Rilla M. Ward
Rilla M. Ward, 92, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on January 4, 1918 to D.A. and Julia (Sweeney) Griner in Puyallup, Washington.
Rilla worked 25 years as a Nurse at Noblesville and Tipton Hospitals.
She is survived by two sons - Robert E. (wife, Shirley) Ward of Cicero; and Michael J. (wife, Patricia) Ward of Noblesville; three grandchildren - Rob (wife, Abbey) Ward; Heather (husband, Sam) Miles; and Blake Ward.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Ward, in 1985; and a granddaughter, Nancy Kaye Ward.
A private family graveside service will be held at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating.
