Rita Dea Cook, 71, of Cicero, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at her home. She was born on November 21, 1942 in Muncie, Indiana.
Rita worked as a salesperson for Physicians Mutual insurance for 10 years before retiring. She enjoyed camping and traveling, and was an avid Elvis fan. Rita loved Cardinals both the bird and the University of Louisville Cardinals. She and her late husband, Ed, were season ticket holders for the football and basketball teams. Her greatest passion in life was her grandchildren, and she will always be remembered for being the kindest, and most giving person you could meet.
She is survived by her son, Ralph Cook; daughter-in-law, April Cook; grandchildren, Andrew & Amber Owens, and Aaron Cook; great-grandchildren, Grayson Wolfe and Cadence Fiesel; cousins, Pat, Brandon, & Laurie Stinson of Troy, OH, Nancy & Bridget Landa of CA, and Lou Miller of Richmond, IN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Cook, who passed away on January 28, 2014; and son, Kevin Cook.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery in Cicero.
