Rita Jones

Rita I. Jones, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014. She was born on March 11, 1949 to Charles and Cecile Blakley in Evansville, Indiana. Rita and her late husband Hughie W. Jones are survived by 2 loving daughters; Connie (Johnny) McLean and Margo (Brian) Hoaglan.
Rita was a member of Saint Louis de Montfort Catholic Church where she was a coordinator for the funeral meal ministry. Rita was extremely active over the years with the 4-H organization, a member of the CRHP team 24, active at The Climb a Parkinson's group in Noblesville, IN, and a 19 year member of the Creative Club.
Rita is also survived by the loves of her life, grandchildren, Jenna & Julianne McLean, and Travis, Macy, Aaron Hoaglan; 7 sisters, Elizabeth (John) Hall, Mary Theresa (Woody) McFadin, Debbie Carlisle, Linda (Mike) Fendrich, Karen Bush, Brenda (Buzz)  Latham, and Pam Phillips; 5 sister-in-laws, Arrinda (Mark) Smith, Jan (Bob) Sisson, Tina (Charlie) Gibbs, Angie (Mike) Bohleber, and Tammy Jones; brother-in-law, James (Martha) Inman; mother-in-law, Anna Jones; and 31 nieces and nephews.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Hughie W. Jones in 1992; her parents; father-in-law, Hughie Elmo Jones; and brother-in-law, Brian Phillips.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Saint Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Fishers from 9:30 am until 11:30 am. Mass will begin at 11:30 am with a celebration of life luncheon following. A private family service for burial will be in Mt. Vernon, IN at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Parkinson Foundation, The Climb North Indianapolis, 10936 Gresham Place, Noblesville, IN 46060.
