Robert E. Boone

Robert E. "Bob" Boone, 73, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at home in Noblesville. He was born May 8, 1936 in Mitchell, Indiana to Herbert and Lillian (McIntire) Boone.
Robert graduated from Indiana Business College and was a Purchasing Manager for O.O. McKinley and ASI Sign Systems in Indianapolis.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church, in Noblesville, Indiana.
His passion was restoring automobiles and he was a charter member of the Central Indiana Vintage Vehicle Club.  In addition, he had been an avid golfer and fisherman.   He also enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, LaDean Boone, who he married on July 3, 1954; his son, Michael (Marie) Boone of Bloomingdale; his daughter, Julie (Robert) Fischer of Noblesville; four grandchildren, Rebecca & Stephanie Boone and Nicholas & Zachary Fischer; and two brothers, Charles Boone & Kenneth Boone.
He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Richard Allen Boone.
Services will be held at 7:00PM on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville, with Pastor Dave Scifres officiating. Friends may call Friday, October 16, 4:00 - 7:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home.  A graveside service and burial will be on Saturday at 1:00PM at Mitchell Cemetery, in Mitchell, Indiana.
