Robert âBob' Lewis Brown Jr, 65, of Fishers, was called home Monday, May 21, 2018 to worship at the feet of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. Bob's life exemplified his deep love for the Lord; his wife, Ann; his beautiful daughter, Lisa; Lisa's husband, Chad; and his stepsons, Matt; Greg and Doug Ritter. Robert was born to Robert Lewis Brown and Lucille May Brown in Los Angeles, CA on September 15, 1952. He had many accomplishments in his life and was a shining example for his Savior. His primary concern up until the day he died was to accurately represent his Lord and to help people come to know Christ personally. He had a servant's heart and a love for his friends and family that was rare. Bob worked in Air Defense Artillery in the United States Army and served in Germany and Crete. Additionally, he served in many roles in the churches he attended including Care and Prayer Teams, Trustee, and Single Again Ministries. He also was a faithful attendee at a Tuesday morning men's prayer group, which he loved. Bob was a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan and worked in a variety of jobs, the most recent being an engineer at Delphi Corp. Survivors include his wife, Ann (Leffler) Brown; daughter Lisa Renee (Chad) Horkay; stepsons, Matt (Lori) Ritter, Greg (Rachel) Ritter, and Doug Ritter; brother, Bill (Rhonda) Brown; and eight step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Melinda Renee Brown. Services are at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Rd in Fishers, with calling from 11:00 am until the time of the service. A burial service with full military honors will take place at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Fishers immediately after the service.
