Robert Skipper Bunner II

Robert "Skipper" Bunner II, 63, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his home.  He was born on August 28, 1955 in Simi Valley, California.
Skip proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of Hinkle Creek Friends Church.  He was an environmental scientist who enjoyed studying the stars, sailing, fishing, scuba diving, traveling, and going on adventures in his Jeep.
Skip is survived by his wife, Carol L. Bunner; mother, Reba Virginia (Heitzman) Crayton (husband, Frank); children, Christopher Dewilde, Emily Burriss (husband, Cassel), Robert Bunner III, and Sarah Jane Bunner; sister, Ginger Worley; and six grandchildren, Autumn Dewilde, Raynne Dewilde, Cassel Burriss, Joanna Burriss, Lucy Burriss and Nikolas Burriss.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bunner I; sister, Sheryl White; and brother, Larry Bunner.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service.  Pastor Jack Holliday will officiate.  Burial will be at Hinkle Creek Cemetery in Noblesville.
