Robert Eugene "Bob" Clifford

Robert Eugene "Bob" Clifford, 91, of Noblesville, passed away in the early morning of Friday, July 22, 2016 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on January 20, 1925 to Luther and Esther (Scherer) Clifford in Cicero, Indiana.
For 13 years, Bob worked as a rubber machine operator for Firestone, and then worked in maintenance close to 20 years for Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, as well as Noblesville Eagles Aeire #450 and Noblesville Moose Lodge. A 1942 graduate of Cicero High School, Bob enjoyed roller skating, camping, woodworking, and listening to books on tape.
He is survived by his children, Charmayne (Wayne) Thomas, John (Gail) Clifford, Loretta (Donald) Plew, Laura (Stephen) Ransdell, Mary Ann (Clarence) King, and David Clifford; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and sisters, Katie Waltz, Carol (Ed) Myers, and Janet Sietsma.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Shirley Dean Clifford, who passed away March 28, 2016; son, Jerald Clifford; and sisters, Martha Land and Janice Wiles.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street in Noblesville, with Rev. Peter Logsdon officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
