Robert Durst, 70, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 at his home. He was born on July 7, 1940 to Robert and Eleanor (Garlich) Durst in Bucks County, PA.
Robert and his wife owned and operated the Anvil Inn in Cicero for 32 years. He was a member of American Legion, the Elks, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shiners and he was also a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by his spouse, Kathy Durst of Noblesville, IN, daughters, Trish Durst and Nicole (Chris) Courtney, granddaughter, Brittany Woods (John Obsitnick, fiancee), grandsons, Robbie Courtney and Matt Courtney, two sisters and one brother. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robbie Durst. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
