Robert Eugene Gatewood
Robert Eugene Gatewood, 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on May 25, 1926 to Arthur and Mary (Heiny) Gatewood in Hamilton County, Indiana. Robert was retired from Delco-Remy and has also been a lifetime farmer. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his son, Joel Gatewood and his wife Kit; daughter, Donna Gatewood Brooks; brother, Arthur Gatewood Jr; half-brother, Wilson Gatewood; and granddaughter, Amanda Kline.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Virgin; and his former wife, Wanda.
Private family services will be held, with burial at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
