Robert D. Higgins Jr

Robert D. Higgins Jr, 67, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on May 15, 1948 to Robert and Eileen (Gray) Higgins in Elwood, Indiana.
Robert was an excellent businessman, and Founder and owner of Higgins Appraisal Group, Inc., Est. 2000. Rob enjoyed nature, sports and his family. He was the kind of man that lent a helping hand, would give all he had to a stranger, and fed and sheltered any creature. To know Rob was to love him. He made friends wherever he went.
Rob's strength was insurmountable as he fought to survive with all he had. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered as a husband, a dad, a papaw, a brother, an uncle, and a friend.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Higgins; three children, Scott (Lori) Higgins, Angela (Pancho) Alvarez and Robert (Jennifer) Higgins III; brother, Hal (Debra) Higgins; sister-in-law, Debbie Stansberry; son-in-law, John Edge; grandchildren, Anna, Emily, Elizabeth, Natalie, Allison and John Robert; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kayli Dawn.
Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville with visitation beginning at 4:00 pm prior to the service.
