Robert Raymond Read

Robert Raymond Read, 70, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.  He was born on August 4, 1949 to Ross and Betty (Musall) Read in Logansport, Indiana.

Bob proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and he retired from the National Guard after over 39 years of service. He was a Pastor at Union Baptist Church in Union Mills and most recently was a member of Hope Bible Fellowship Church in Noblesville.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lois Read; son, Tony (Codie) Read of Eugene, Oregon; daughter, Lisa (Mac) McGirr of Scircleville, Indiana; son, Chad Read of Brookings, South Dakota; siblings, Steve (Vivian) Read of Langhorn, Pennsylvania, Julie (Pete) Santo of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ed Read of Goshen, Indiana, Rich (Lisa) Read of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Ken (Rhonda) Read of Knox, Indiana; seven grandchildren; 5 plus 2 on the way great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Neva Annette.

Bob's family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with his care. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Hope Bible Fellowship, 2350 Conner Street, in Noblesville, with visitation from 10:00 am to the time of service.
