Robert Ryan Smoot

Robert Ryan Smoot, 52, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at his home. He was born on July 31, 1972 in Plattsburgh, New York.

Ryan worked in sales and was an avid sports fan. He played basketball, ran track, liked to work out at the gym, and was a certified scuba diver. Ryan played for the Indianapolis Tornado football team and loved riding his Harley.

He is survived by his daughters, Ariana and Alaina Smoot; mother, Jeanette Winkler; father, Philip (Anna) Smoot; sister, Kelli (Michael) Kimbrell; half-brothers, Shawn and Shane Smoot; uncles, Steve Winkler, David Winkler, and Paul (Ally) Smoot.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd & Barbara Winkler and Charles and Anna Smoot; aunt, Teresa Celarek; cousins, Leslie and Ashley; uncles, Charles Frederick Smoot, Jr. and Robert Earl Smoot, Sr.; and his boss and best friend, Jeff Lang.

Private family services will be held with burial at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
