Robert U. Toms, 74, of Westfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. He was born on October 17, 1940 to Robert and Dorothy (Unger) Toms in Alexandria, Indiana.
Robert owned the engineering firm, R. Toms Inc. in Noblesville and was an avid golfer. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Engineering; and was a member of the National Guard and the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Toms of Westfield; daughters, Katy (Jonathan) Kletzel of Chicago, Kelly (Jim) Clark of Washington, and Amy (Dave) Ely of Noblesville; son, Donny (Allison) McKinnon of Westfield; sister, Beverly (Ken) Willis of South Carolina; three nephews; and six grandchildren.
Services will be private.
