Roberta Iona Ibey

Roberta Ibey, 90, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 in Carmel.  She was born on September 2, 1927 to Frank and Elfrida (Peck) Lamberton in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
Roberta was Secretary/Bookkeeper for Randy's Toy Shop in Noblesville for over 30 years.  She was a very devout Catholic and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.  Roberta enjoyed sewing, needlepoint & gardening, and loved her children and family.  Her greatest accomplishment in her later years was climbing to the top of Mount Le Conte of Great Smoky Mountains National Park at the age of 70.
Roberta is survived by her children, Mary F. (Dan) Krupa, Dan (Holly) Ibey, Randy (Annette) Ibey, Tim (Lara) Ibey, James (Denise) Ibey, and Debbie (Joe) Marchese; grandchildren, Heather, Aaron, Sean, Alex, Rachel & Josh Ibey, and Joey & Tony Marchese; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Ibey; and brothers, Milton Lamberton and Weldon Lamberton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. Ibey; her children, Darin Ibey, Tom Ibey & Janet Ibey; and her granddaughter, Brandy Ibey.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street in Noblesville, with Rev. Tom Metzger officiating.  Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
