Robin Waddell
Robin (Holcombe) Waddell, 61, Carmel, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. She was born April 13, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Willard Strait and Claire Ann (Neil) Holcombe.
Robin worked for Godby Home Furnishings, Kittle's Furniture and the Shane Company in sales. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Business Law. Robin was an avid reader who loved her family and her dog. She particularly enjoyed hiking, cooking, and fishing.
She is survived by son, Christopher N. (& Kimberly) Waddell of Hartford City, IN; daughter, Jennifer L. (& Peter) Garin of Noblesville; and seven grandchildren, Taylor Neil Waddell, Logan James Waddell, Ryan Craig Garin, Austin Thomas Stapleton, Kaleigh Elizabeth Garin, Hannah Marie Stapleton, and Lillian Grace Garin.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Friends may call Sunday, prior to the service from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home. There will be a 1:00 PM graveside service with the burial at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Monday, November 17.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society, 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060.
