Roger W. Woodward, 63, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 6, 1954 to Paul and Audrey (Filson) Woodward in Noblesville, Indiana.
Roger worked in insurance for Erie and Allstate, and owned Woodward & Batta Insurance. He was employed by Janus Developmental. Roger was a 10-year 4-H member, and participated in the Central Indiana Antique Tractor & Engine Association, as well as the Military Vehicle Preservation Association and the Indiana chapter of the MVPA. Roger enjoyed driving his WWII Jeep in the 4th of July parades. He farmed with his family his entire life.
Roger is survived by his loving companion, Deborah Rood; father, Paul Woodward; mother, Audrey Woodward; his son and daughter with Constance Best Woodward, Paul Woodward and Leslie Woodward Arnold (husband Craig); brothers, Rand Woodward (wife Debbie) and Ross Woodward (wife Penni); sister, Leah Fisher (husband Dennis); and two grandsons, Louis Woodward and Bridger Arnold.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a time of sharing and reflection at 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
