Ronald Duplaga

Ronald A. Duplaga, 69, of Kouts, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Merrillville.  He was born on January 4, 1952 to Anthony and Wanda (Lampa) Duplaga in Hammond, Indiana.

Ron worked as a chemist for Inland Steel.  He enjoyed gardening and coaching youth & high school soccer.  Ron was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan and was known as a handyman and Jack-of-all-trades.  He loved shooting off fireworks and always put on spectacular firework displays.

Ron is survived by his wife, Amy Duplaga; children, John Duplaga, Jennifer Duplaga, and Lynn (Daniel) Martz; and his grandchildren, Scout Duplaga, Sarah Duplaga, Christopher Martz, and Gavin Martz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Claudia Duplaga.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm (EST), with visitation 1 hour prior, on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville.  Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.

The family requests those attending wear casual attire or Blackhawks apparel.
