Ronald "Ron" Gedge

Ronald D. Gedge, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on June 25, 1931 to Harry Reginald Gedge and Babe (Greenwood) Gedge Blackwell in Chicago, Illinois.
Ron was retired from a sales career in agriculture; was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Noblesville; and was a member of the U.S. Air Force and a Korean War veteran. He was an avid sports fan; and enjoyed golf and people. His memberships included, the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine. He was also a former member of the Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Gedge whom he married on August 16, 1957; daughters, Dana (Steve) Carter and Natalie (Bryan) Roy; and grandchildren, Maggie Carter, Lauren Roy & Erin Roy.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Elmer 'Ike' Blackwell; and brother, George R Gedge.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Christ Lutheran Church, 10055 East 186th Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Adrian Piazza officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 10, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville.
