Ronald L. Hutson

Ronald L. Hutson, 79, of Westfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in Sheridan. He was born on March 14, 1935 to Ernest and Birdie (Teboe) Hutson in Westfield, Indiana.
Ron was a graduate of Westfield High School, and a member of the WHS Lettermen's Club. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, and retired from the Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. Ron was a lifelong resident of Westfield, and was a volunteer fireman for Westfield Fire Department for 15 years. He enjoyed hunting, was an avid fisherman, and won the Horseshoe-Indiana State Championship.
He is survived by his sons, Anthony Hutson, Jeffrey (Karrie) Hutson, and Bradley (Lori) Hutson; daughter, Christina Hutson; brother, James (Glee) Hutson; four grandchildren, Amanda Sawin, Riley Hutson, Reid Hutson, and Luke Hutson; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Sawin, and Abigail Sawin; and his companion of 22 years, Jackie O'Dell.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Hutson; and wife, Susan Jane Hutson.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation from 1:00 pm to the time of service. Pastor Doug Shoemaker will officiate.
