Ronald H. Resch, 86, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Riverview TCU in Noblesville. He was born on July 22, 1929 to Edmund and Regia (McGrority) Resch in Louisville, Kentucky.
Ronald was a member of the 1947 graduating class of Louisville Male High School, and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, and was a member of the Noblesville American Legion and the Elks. For 35 years, Ronald worked for the Fountain Sales department of Coca Cola U.S.A. Early in his career, he sold his product to a young entrepreneur who was opening hamburger establishments in Des Plaines, Illinois. The entrepreneur was Ray Kroc, the product was Coca Cola, and the restaurant was McDonalds. Ronald enjoyed gardening, family, and reading the newspaper.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Resch; son, Mark Resch; and grandsons, Andrew Resch and Brady Resch.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Jayn B. Resch, on June 21, 1988.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm Noon on Monday, September 28, 2015, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service. Rev. Peter Logsdon will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Ronald, to the Noblesville High School Football program, c/o NHS Athletics, 18111 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, IN 46060.
