Rosann Pasquale Haines

Rosann Pasquale Haines, 75, of Westfield, Indiana went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, July 22, 2010 after a valiant battle with cancer. Hers was a blessed and grace-filled life that her family and friends give thanks to the God for!
Rosann was born on September 8, 1934 to Nicholas Pasquale and Catherine Bessignano in Logansport, IN.
On October 26, 1957, Rosann married the love of her life, Kenneth D. Haines, who survives. Nearly 53 years of marriage was another blessing from God.
Rosann was very active in her church and faith at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Logansport and later All Saint's Catholic Church, serving on the Parish Council, the School Council, the Altar Rosary Society, the Pro-Life Activities Committee, and in Catholic Scouting. She sang in the choir for many years. She was also a long-time member of the Daughters of Isabella. Rosann was an ardent supporter of Catholic Schools. For several years, Rosann served as Logansport's hostess for Welcome Wagon. Later she worked at the family's pool business as manager and bookkeeper. Since moving to Westfield in 2007, Rosann was an active member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, being involved with the Altar Rosary Society, Christ Renews His Parish Women's Team #14, and the Silver Angels. Rosann loved large family gatherings, cooking, traveling, photography, music, and beautiful flowers. She was a gift to her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Rosann is survived by three sons: Fr. Kevin Haines, a Catholic priest of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana and the Pastor of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield, IN, John Haines (Jennifer) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Greg Haines (Shelley) of Ft. Wayne, IN. A fourth son, David Haines preceded her in death. Rosann has five grandchildren, who were her treasures: Ryan Haines, Haley Haines, Jack Haines, Jim Haines and Joe Haines. She is also survived by a brother, James Pasquale (Sherry) of Logansport, IN and two sisters, Mary Miller (K. Gene) of Fishers, IN and Margaret Fouts (Harry R.) of Santee, SC. Two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Rosann's life will be celebrated and remembered with a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 26, at 10AM at St. Maria Goretti in Westfield. Friends, family, and loved ones may call at special visitation, the night before, on Sunday evening, July 25 from 4 to 8PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1685 Westfield Rd in Noblesville. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport, IN on Monday afternoon, with a Rite of Committal in the cemetery's chapel at 1PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Maria Goretti Adoration Chapel/bell tower fund or The Little Sisters of the Poor's St. Augustine's Home.
