Rosemary Sutton

Rosemary Sutton , 93, of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Mulberry Health in Mulberry.  She was born on February 21, 1927 to Lester and Grace (Parker) Ehrman in Howard County of Indiana.

Rosemary was a graduate of Burlington High School. She married Charles "Tug" Sutton in 1946 and he preceded her in death. Through the years Rosemary was a waitress at her parent's restaurant, a pharmacy assistant at Noble Drugstore, a Lab Tech at Burlington Clinic, and retired as a Lab Tech from Mendelson Clinic in Kokomo, Indiana. Rosemary loved singing and whistling. She performed in musicals at the Kokomo Civic Theater. Rosemary loved her church, Faith Church of Christ in Burlington. She was a wonderful cook and collected movies. Rosemary loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She created silk flower arrangements, loved to dance, clean the house, and having holiday family gatherings.

She is survived by her son, Stan (Jan) Sutton; daughter, Cindy (Ron) Simpson; grandchildren, Wendi (Grant) Williams, Angie Sutton, and Greg (Heather) Sutton; great-grandchildren, Shannon Boyd, Makenzie Sutton, Makayla Sutton, Emma Sutton, and Aiden Sutton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Tug" Sutton; brothers, Frank Ehrman, George Ehrman, and Tom Ehrman.

Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Burlington Faith Church of Christ, 1707 S Michigan St in Burlington, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to the time of service at the church.  Burial will be at Burlington Cemetery in Burlington at a later time.
