Rosetta Russell, 47, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born on December 30, 1966 to Emanuel and Dollie (Jones) Wooten in Jamestown, Kentucky. Rosetta was married to Ernest Russell on January 8, 1985. She moved to Noblesville, in 1988, and has resided there for the remainder of her life.
Rosetta was diagnosed with a terminal illness 2 years ago and fought a hard battle. Her best friend was Shiloh (her favorite dog). Her favorite place to go was Anderson. Best of worst childhood memory was getting shot with a BB gun by her brother, Kenneth. Rosetta's favorite place to be was at home with her Ernie and her puppy dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Russell; daughter, Christy Russell; and two grandchildren, Corey and Justin. She has one sister, Juanita Lee of Campbellsville, KY; and four brothers, Randall Wooten of Russell Springs, KY, and Asa, Kenneth, and Bobby Wooten of Jamestown, KY.
Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation from 10:30 am to the time of service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
